'Connect Monday.com to Supervity, authorize access, and use Monday.com boards, items, and columns in operators and workflows.'

This guide explains how to connect Monday.com to Supervity, what data is available after connection, how operators can use Monday.com data and actions within workflows, and how to remove the integration when needed.

Overview

The Supervity Monday.com integration allows your workspace to securely connect Monday.com as a governed platform capability.

Once connected, operators and workflows can use Monday.com data and actions to automate business processes, retrieve board information, manage tasks and items, and coordinate work across systems.

With the Monday.com integration, Supervity can:

  • Access board lists and metadata from your Monday.com account
  • Retrieve item details and tracking information
  • Manage columns and update column values
  • Access user and team profiles within the workspace
  • Create, update, and delete boards
  • Create, update, and delete items
  • Use Monday.com data as context for operators
  • Coordinate updates across connected project management systems

All Monday.com access is governed through Supervity's security, permissions, and audit controls.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Monday.com, ensure you have:

  • An active Supervity workspace
  • A Monday.com account (Free, Basic, Standard, Pro, or Enterprise)
  • Permission to authorize applications on your Monday.com workspace
  • Access to the Monday.com account containing the boards and data you want to use

Depending on your Monday.com workspace setup and permissions, creating or deleting certain boards and accessing account-wide user directories may require administrative privileges.

Step 1: Open Integrations

  1. Log in to Supervity.
  2. From the left navigation bar, click the Integrations icon.

This opens the Integrations page, where all available integrations are listed. Connected integrations and available integrations can both be managed from this page.

Step 2: Select Monday.com

  1. Locate Monday.com in the available integrations list.
  2. Click Connect.

Step 3: Authorize Access

You will be redirected to Monday.com's authorization page.

Review the requested permissions and click Authorize to grant Supervity access to your Monday.com workspace.

  • If the Supervity application has not been installed in your Monday.com workspace, Monday.com may prompt you or your administrator to install the application first before completing the OAuth consent step.
  • Supervity uses Monday.com's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization flow with PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange).
  • Your Monday.com password is never shared with or stored by Supervity.

Step 4: Complete Connection

After authorization, you will be redirected back to Supervity.

The Monday.com integration will appear as Connected on the Integrations page. Your workspace can now securely access Monday.com capabilities according to the permissions granted.

This supports compliance, troubleshooting, governance, and operational visibility.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues at any stage, refer to the steps below. For issues not covered here, contact the Supervity support team.

Authorization Failed During Setup

Likely Cause: Incorrect Monday.com account used, or insufficient permissions to authorize applications in the workspace.

Resolution:

  1. Ensure you are signed in to the correct Monday.com account.
  2. Confirm you have permission to install and authorize applications in your target Monday.com workspace.
  3. Return to Supervity → Integrations → Monday.com and click Connect to retry.
  4. If the issue persists, contact your Monday.com account administrator to approve application access.

Monday.com Shows Connected but Data Is Missing

Likely Cause: Required permissions were not granted during authorization, or the target boards are private and restricted from the authorized user.

Resolution:

  1. Verify that all requested permissions were accepted during the OAuth authorization step.
  2. Confirm that the data or board you are requesting exists and is accessible by the connected user account.
  3. Check if the board is configured as a private board, which may require specific invites or permissions for access.
  4. Reconnect the integration via Integrations → Monday.com → Reconnect to refresh permissions.

Connection Expired or Token Invalid

Likely Cause: OAuth tokens may expire or be revoked by Monday.com security settings.

Resolution:

  1. Go to Integrations → Monday.com → Reconnect.
  2. Complete the Monday.com authorization flow again.
  3. Existing workflows do not need to be reconfigured after reconnection.

Workflow Cannot Access Monday.com

Likely Cause: Monday.com may have been disconnected, or workspace governance policies may restrict access.

Resolution:

  1. Confirm Monday.com is still connected under the Integrations page.
  2. Verify the workflow has permission to use Monday.com within your workspace governance settings.
  3. Check that workspace policies allow Monday.com execution for the relevant operators or workflows.

Board or Item Actions Fail

Likely Cause: The targeted board ID or item ID is incorrect, or the column values sent do not match the expected column data types on the board.

Resolution:

  1. Verify the exact board ID and item ID values within your Monday.com interface.
  2. Check that the column types match the values being sent (e.g., text values mapped to text columns, numbers to numeric columns).
  3. Ensure the connected user has write permissions for the target board.
  4. Reconnect the integration if permissions may have changed.
